SockMonkey are looking for an ANIMATOR to work on all sorts of great projects and IPs. Working in small teams and reporting to the Lead Artist, responsibilities include rigging, skinning and animating models for our titles. The ideal candidates are passionate about animation and games, whilst looking to make a significant impact at a growing studio.
Strong body mechanics and acting skills
Ability to create gameplay animations in line with the style and vision of the project
Experience with 3D engines
Implement and iterate animation assets in-game
Experience working with varied motion styles
Ability to give and take constructive critiscism
Proficient in Maya
2+ years experience or at least 1 shipped title
Experience working with gaming engines (Unity/Unreal)
Whilst prior industry experience is ideal, we will consider a promising candidate for an entry-level position.
Rigging & Skinning knowledge
Knowledge and experience of working with IP holders
Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience.
