SockFest 2021!

What do you get when you mix free food, party games, free drinks, tipis and a group of teammates who haven’t seen each other in over a year? SOCKFEST!

We kicked off the long weekend with what should be an unforgettable night – but due to the amount of alcohol consumed I was unable to get many first-hand accounts. This being said though it seemed to be a fun night either way.

Standup at SockFest

Thanks to The Hammer and Pincers for providing an awesome venue and food, thanks to Bob’s mam for providing the dessert and thanks to the entire team for showing up (and shoving cotton buds up their noses to make sure we all stayed safe.)

Since apparently the dark nights have steamrolled in this year, as the night got darker we lit the firepits and started roasting marshmallows, making s’mores and keeping warm in the tipis while trying to avoid the giant Jenga blocks crashing down around us.

By the end of the night, as we all left with our high-fashion SockFest shirts we had learned a few things:

  1. Smite is a hard game
  2. Vegan cupcakes are delicious
  3. If Espresso Martini isn’t on the menu the SockMonkey team will make it be on the menu

Chilling by the campfire
